A note from the editorial team:

It is February all of a sudden! Where did Christmas go? All seems such a long time ago and some say we are blotting it from our memories. As usual there were lots of beautiful Christmas lights around the parish this year and by all accounts everyone is still eating the turkey and ham that we bought to share but sadly ended up in the freezer for another day. A big thank you to all who sent us fabulous photos of snow scenes around the villages and we can see many of you had fun making handsome snowmen. We have dotted some of them about the magazine.

We were very sad to hear about the deaths of Malcolm Skevington who lived in Wingfield and Malcolm Baldwin from Tebworth. Both lived in the parish for many years.

We are lucky to have more news about Chops settling into his new home, Colin has kept us up to date about the next chapter of his cancer treatment and Su gives us an insight into life in our schools during this pandemic.

We hope you enjoy this edition of the News. Stay safe, get ready to sow seeds in the spring, for in the words of the lovely Captain Tom …“Tomorrow will be a good day”
