Schools

Central Bedfordshire operates a three tier school system, comprising lower, middle, and upper schools. The catchment schools for Chalgrave parish are located in Toddington (lower and middle), and Harlington (upper). Please note that you are not guaranteed a place at your catchment area school if the admission number has been reached. A school bus service is provided that calls at various points around the villages. This service is currently free (under the criteria that it is not possible to walk to any of the schools because there is no pedestrian footpath linking the parish to the schools) for all children up to age 16, however you do need to apply for your child’s bus pass. Please see the Central Bedfordshire website for further information.
