Chalgrave News Issue 58 – Spring 2018.

Issue 58, Spring 2018.

The latest issue of the Chalgrave News (Issue 58, Spring 2018) is now available to view here or browse past issues.

Once again Chalgrave has a packed calendar of events for the coming months. There will be a street party in May to celebrate the royal wedding, the Chalgrave News is organising another Open Gardens Day in June with more gardens this year and the Chalgrave Games in July will have a ‘Swinging Sixties’ theme this year. (Check the Dates for your Diary for details of these and other regular Chalgrave events). We also hope to see the grand re-opening of the Queen’s Head and we’re all looking forward to seeing the changes that have been made.

You may have been aware of the proposed plans to increase the speed limit to 40mph in part of Tebworth. We’re glad to see that these plans have been scrapped and there will now be an advisory 20mph limit in the centre of Tebworth. Well done to everyone who replied to the consultation.

This issue is the fourth for the present editorial team and after a year we’d love to know what you think of the Chalgrave News – what we’re getting right or wrong and what you’d like to see included in the coming issues.
