Another successful day in the history of the Chalgrave Games

Regrettably, I was on holiday when the Games took place this year, but all the reports I’ve received are that they were a tremendous success, with super weather, good crowds, and plenty to occupy and entertain everyone, be they young or old. An article by Roger Masters, Chair of the Chalgrave Memorial Hall Trustees, will appear in the September edition of the Chalgrave News, but here are a few photos to provide a taster of the atmosphere prevailing on the day. The organising committee thanks all the generous sponsors who supported the Games, and also thanks the legions of people who helped in the run-up or on the day itself. As Roger Masters has put it, “It was a special day for the Parish”.
