Central Bedfordshire Council – Budget 2016 survey now available

Central Bedfordshire Council provides a range of public services, such as: maintaining roads and pavements, refuse collection and recycling, libraries, leisure services and support services for old people, vulnerable adults and children.

The decision the council will make about funding of local services when it sets its budget for the next financial year (April 2016 – March 2017), will affect everyone, so they are seeking views on their spending plans. Everyone is invited to share their views on the proposed budget by responding to this survey by Monday, 8th February 2016.

The Parish Council have received a small number of survey forms which will be made available in The Plough Inn and the Queen’s Head (ask at the bar). However, you can view the full budget proposals and complete the survey online at: www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/budget2016.

This is your opportunity to voice your opinion on the future budget plans of Central Beds Council, so we encourage you to complete the survey now. And if you know of someone that cannot complete it online, please make them aware of the availability of the forms in the pubs in the parish (or even take one round for them) – they are freepost so will cost nothing to complete.
